An east-facing plot gets the morning sun on its front, and Vastu treats it almost as well as north: the open front setback falls on the east, where open space is wanted.

The main door goes on the east wall, towards its middle or north-east half — never in the south-east corner. The living room and pooja sit towards the north-east. Put the master bedroom in the south-west and the kitchen in the south-east, which on this plot is the front-left corner as you face the house.
North is up. The road side is marked; the room in each zone is the one Vastu places there first.

Keep the centre of the house — the Brahmasthan — open: a hall, a courtyard or a skylight, never a column, a toilet or a staircase.
With indicative setbacks of 15 ft in front, 8 ft at the rear and 4 ft on each side, the house can be about 42 × 57 ft — 2,394 sq ft a floor. That is a comfortable 4+ BHK on the ground floor; with a first floor, a 4+ BHK with a staircase in the south or west. Setbacks, floor area ratio and height limits come from your local development authority or municipality — check them before you build.
The east front yard takes the lawn and the parking; a reflecting pool or urli in the north-east, a fire pit or barbecue in the south-east. Vastu keeps the north and east low and open — lawn, a tulsi plant near the door, water in the north-east — and puts weight in the south and west: palms or tall trees along that boundary, the overhead tank in the south-west. With typical setbacks the buildable footprint is about 2,394 sq ft per floor — roughly a 4+ BHK on the ground floor, or a 4+ BHK across ground and first floor. Your city's bye-laws decide the exact setbacks.
In the south-east (Agni), with the cook facing east; the north-west is the accepted alternative. Never in the north-east.
